ALL FILTRATION TECHNOLOGIES UNDER ONE ROOF
Media Technology
Available with a wide range of media types – sand, crushed glass, active carbon, anthracite, basalt, etc. The filter vessels are available in various tank construction materials, meeting international drinking water standards.
Media filters provide depth filtration technology by filtering water through a thick layer of graded granular particles such as sand, glass, gravel or other, called a filter bed. Raw water enters the filter inlet and percolates through the filter bed. Suspended solids are trapped and attach to the filtration media . During the backwash process, filtered water flows through the under layer nozzles and then out through the filter drain.
Water Types
Depth filtration is suitable for a wide variety of water types with high dirt load capacity, allows the use of chemicals and enables combined treatment with coagulation/ flocculation
Filtration Element
Advanced granular media as well as other bed types - sand, glass, gravel, active carbon, anthracite, basalt, etc.
Self-Cleaning
Pressurized water flows in reverse direction – from the nozzles upwards, causing suspension of the filter bed and releasing the suspended matter from the bedding. The dirt particles are then flushed out of the filter through the backflush valve.
Filtration Degree
Equivalent to 1-130 micron
Advantages
Advanced design, effective automatic depth filtration able to cope with high variable dirt loads.
Highlights
Modularity and flexibility, wide range of media and vessel types and sizes, suitable for various filtration applications.
